- Who are YPD members?
- One common thread ties the members of YPD together. Each member strives every day to better them self and the community they are a part of through the work they do and the lives they lead. Some members work for the largest employers in the area while other members work for small non-profit organizations. Some hold court in the corner office while some attempt to hold meetings in their cubicles. Some are recent college grads striking out on their own for the first time while others are established in their careers and have families. Some knew they were done when they walked across the stage to receive their diploma while others make time in their busy week to continue their education. Some pay their mortgage each month while others struggle to make rent on time. Some spend their entire lives in Dubuque while others were transferred to Dubuque for a job. Some boomerang back home and others chose to come here on their own. They are different in some ways but in other ways couldn’t be more similar. Wherever they are in their careers and whatever brought them to Dubuque, they are here now and making a difference in their community. They are the future of Dubuque.
